Overview

Our assignment for the end of the year was to create a multi-genre blog portfolio. We had to create these blog pages where we had to post all of our work. We had to write a 2 1/2 page research paper and a 2 1/2 page story on the genre we chose. We also had to post our works cited page, we had to write a paragraph about us, pictures of our author, and the characteristics of our genre. My reaserch question was “What jobs effected Mark Twains writing.” I wrote my creative portion on a journey with two teenagers who snuck out of their house to lead a new life. I chose Mark Twain and Realism because think the genre is very interesting. Mark Twain is a famous author with great literary works and led a very interesting life.
